Do you know Him? Is Jesus Christ Lord of your life?
You see, Jesus
came to free us from the curse of sin. He came to meet a human need that
no other could meet. He is the sinner’s substitute; the perfect spotless
Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. He is the ultimate
and final sacrifice for our sin. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life; and
the only way to God.
“I am the way, the truth and the
life; no one comes to the Father but through me.” John 14:6.
He provides assurance to those who
trust in Him. “Your sins have been
forgiven…your faith has saved you… go in peace.” Luke 7:48-50
Praise the living
God!
We live in a society that offers choices,
alternatives and substitutes for just about everything.
Beware! There
is no substitute for Salvation. You can’t work hard enough, be good enough,
be strong enough, or give up enough to result in your salvation.
Salvation was needed. We were all
sinners in need of a Savior;
“For all have sinned and come short of the
glory of God.” Romans 3:23, that Savior being Jesus Christ.
Salvation was provided. “He Himself
bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we may die to sin and live to
righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
Salvation was offered as a free gift.
“For by grace are you saved through faith, not of yourselves, it is a gift
of God.” Ephesians 2:8.
Salvation
must be accepted – and will be
the moment you surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
“He who has the Son has the life; he who does
not have the son does not have the life.” 1 John 5:12
